Active or Passive?

Are you a passive observer or a active change taker?

Many times people tend to complain about the authorities that are in charge of them. But sit back and do not do any action to help themselves achieve their own personal goals. Take for example CPF savings. People has been complaining that interest rates are too low and there is little savings when they retire. Think about it, obviously the interest rates will not very much change till it increases your CPF savings substantially when you retire. Even with the 1% increase in savings is merely up to about $600 more a year due to the cap. And it is not inflated by the current high inflation rate in the market.

Why are people not taking their own step to increase their own retirement funding by forking out extra cash from other budgeted structured savings and invest in various instruments that will earn potentially higher return rather than rely on the authorities to give you a fix interest rate.

Do not be a bystander. Stop complaining. Do something for yourself today.
