WARNING TO ALL NET USERS

Netizens beware! I have been to many blog sites and many social network sites, and realise that people actually placed alot of information about themselves on the site itself. It is actually very dangerous to keep doors opened for crimes to come in or some invasion of privacy. Lets say take for example, someone wanted to hack into your email account, (of course there is now a automated password generator to guess the password) you make it easier by allowing them to simply look for more information in your blog site or some social network sites to get the password which they think that you would use.

Especially those blogs that describes your daily lives is simply telling the world what have you been doing and where would you be at during different timings. It is just giving people clue the possible places that people can find you.

Don't think pictures can't give any information about you. They can give a stalker a lot of information. The phrase a picture paints a thousand words says it all. Another simple example would be, you met someone in a bar, which you only gave the person your name. With the name, the person would be able to search for you over the web as well as social networks, and match your picture to his/her memory. From there, he/she might know your birthday, where you stay, and the kind of person you are deduced from the things that you have writen and the pictures that are being uploaded. So don't think that you are not showing any information, information is there already when you show yourself online. Of course, not all people that you met online is actually bad. But precautions must be taken seriously, or not, it is like waiting for something to happened. Please tell me I am a paranoid. Though, it is better to be safe than sorry. Take care my friends.
