Risk Adverse.

Did you realize some people are risk adverse about losing money at stocks exchange buys into lotteries instead?

Which is more risky? Buying $5000 into a single IPO or buying $5000 into a single lottery ticket?

I will say the lottery.

Lessons learnt out of the classrooms

Have you heard of the phrase the world is a big classroom? Something very interesting struck me a few months ago. Remember the entry " It is a change effect"? It is a series of incident that make me come out with the entry. The first incident was interesting. I first got the idea from a rather violent game, it was a conversation within the story line. Interesting wasn't it? Reflect on the happenings of the day on a daily basis, best if before your sleep. Sometime you get to see stuffs when you are at a more relaxed state of mind and you can see stuffs from different perspective.

Therefore lessons are there for you to learn everywhere. It is for you to spot it.

Asset or Liability?

In this fast moving world, you often find yourself buying things or find yourself lured in to buying things that will depreciate. Soon enough, you find yourself in a rat race, and become almost cashless at the end of the month.

Some people say that they are asset rich, and cash poor. But are your assets really assets? For example, i will not say that a car is an asset when with or without a car you are earning the same amount every month. But a commercial vehicle that helps you to increase in the revenue is an asset. Some people say my property (eg. bungalow) is an asset. But a house might not provide you with the liquidity when you need the cash. As it is hard to sometime find a buyer that will accept the price that you are offering. In this world is all about balance. Doing too much or something will cause a bad effect. Balance the liquidity of your performing assets, and keep at least 6 months salary as emergency fund/slush fund.

Lastly, for people that are starting out, as many successful people are saying, buy into assets not liabilities.

Boxed

When it comes to creative thinking people like to refer it to thinking out of the box. Whenever there is a problem, people like to think out of the box. But often, the very solution to the problem is within the box. And it is often very simple. Don't think too much out of the box and amplify the problem. Think within. Life would be so much simpler.

It is a change effect

Have you ever wondered how come everytime you do something? It is not successful? Many times you just keep repeating your mistake, and doing the same thing, hoping a different result to happened. I've heard a saying: " Many people expect a different result when they are doing the same thing over and over again".

Therefore, my friends, if you are unsuccessful in the things you do, chances are you are doing it wrong. Quit doing what you used to be doing, even proven ways might not work for you. Source for your own way of working and make things work. Keyword: "Change"

Different Perspective.

Have you heard of a phrase: " Is the cup half full or half empty?"

Well, I have got a question; Half filled with air or water?

Start thinking. Think around the box. Make clearer statements next time.

Misinterpretation

How do you interprete the following phrase: " Hate me for the things i didn't do"

1. Hating "me" for things that i did not do (wrongly accused).
2. Hating "me" for not doing something.

Even a simple sentence can have multiple meaning. Yup so do read carefully whatever you are reading. Especially the bible.
